A Muslim bride was given a round of applause when she interrupted her wedding day to lay flowers in tribute to the victims of the Sydney siege.

Manal Kassem took time out of her big day to pay her respects to hostages Katrina Dawson and Tori Johnson, who were shot dead by gunman Man Haron Monis in the Lindt café in Martin Place.
