Azzeddine Soufiane died trying to stop the “crusader” Alexandre Bissonnette, the Quebec mosque attacker. His heroism saved many lives.
Azzeddine Soufiane, 57, moved from Morroco to Canada in the 1980s. He was a father of three young children. His occupation was a butcher. He opened the first Supermarket in the area he lived in.

Azzeddine died as a result of him trying to stop the Quebec terrorist. 6 Muslims lost their lives all at the hands of a right-wing and far-right fascist follower. A dozen more are in critical condition in hospital.
Alexandre Bissonnette opened fire at the Quebec mosque while people were in prayer. It is reported that Alexandre Bissonnette described Himself as a “Christian Crusader”, avid Donald Trump and Marine Le Pen supporter On Facebook.
One witness spoke to reporters on Azzeddine’s last moments:
“He was behind the column there and when he saw the attacker recharging his gun, he ran quickly to immobilise him.
But the attacker was more quick. And he go back and shot him directly in his body and he fell down here.
Without his intervention, we would have more martyrs.
He was a very generous person. I know him very well. He is a very generous person and he showed his generosity until the end of his life.”
Those that lost their lives, their names:
Azzeddine Soufiane, 57, of Morrocan origin moved to Canada in the 1980s.
Mamadou Tanou Barry, 42, he had two young children aged 2 and 4.
Mamadou died alongside his best friend Ibrahima Barry, 39, left 4 children.
AbdelKrim Hassane, 41, was ‘Very peaceful, sensitive man’. It is reported that he worked in computing (IT) for the Quebec Government and left behind young children and his wife.
AbuBaker Thabti, 44, moved to Quebec 18 months ago. Left two young children.
Khaled Belkacei, 60, was a Professor at Laval University, Canada. He had a doctorate in chemical engineering.

Imam Hassan Guillet perfectly summoned the speech at the funeral of those who died. The Imam placed the atrocity at the doorstep of certain individuals in the media and politicians who spread hate and poison the Canadian environment:
“Did I go through the complete list of victims? No.
There is one victim. None of us want talk about him.
But given my age, I have the courage to say it. This victim, his name is Alexandre Bissonnette.
Alexandre, before being a killer he was a victim himself. Before planting his bullets in the heads of his victims, somebody planted ideas more dangerous than the bullets in his head.
This little kid didn’t wake up in the morning and say ‘Hey guys instead of going to have a picnic or watching the Canadiens, I will go kill some people in the mosque.’ It doesn’t happen that way.
Day after day, week after week, month after month, certain politicians unfortunately, and certain reporters unfortunately, and certain media were poisoning our atmosphere.”

I would suggest Govt should withdraw guns from all. No Gun Shops, No Gun/No killing.
