The savage killing of innocent LGBT members at the Orlando club, has saddened many people around the world. Their families and friends haven’t stopped mourning for their lost ones. Those that have left, have not yet been buried by their loved ones.
Dribbling Evangelicals/Politicians
Evangelical Christians and Politicians on the other hand have gone into overdrive, having an orgy fest over the despicable killings in Orlando. They are literally drooling with happiness at the chance of blaming Islam and every Muslim for the World’s problems.
The Evangelicals and Politicians who are exploiting this tragedy are disgusting opportunists who will use any situation, no matter how horrific and sad for their personal evil gains. They use the rhetoric of fear, and bashing Muslims, to spread further hate and division in communities.
What is quite sad is that these right-wing bigots have no care for human life. They never bring any solution to stop further mass killings happening ever again. For if they did, they would first and foremost start solving problems at their back yard.
Evangelicals: starting with your hate preachers; Christian pastors have been rejoicing and ‘praising‘ the killings in Orlando. There have been pastor(s) who are “calling for gays to be EXECUTED” in America. There has been Pastors who went to Uganda wanting the Politicians there to implement death penalty for homosexuals.
Did you know this year alone, there have been 100s cases of LGBT members being beaten and in some cases even murdered by their own families in America? From 2001 to 2014, 268 LGBT persons were murdered. Why aren’t Evangelicals doing something about it, putting a stop to this, and teach their followers not to beat or kill people because they happen to choose and have a different sexual preference to theirs?
Gun violence in America: This past year, there has been over six thousand deaths related to guns. There has been over twenty-three thousand shootings, and 139 mass shootings, this not including the tragedy in Orlando.
The truth is, Evangelical Christians and Politicians only seem to ‘care’ and get ‘concerned’ when the person who commits the crime has a ‘Muslim’ name, and that is enough to spread their venom against the every Muslim around the World. Whenever one of their own does the exact same crime, it gets ignored and nothing happens about it.
Surely, if these politicians and Evangelical Christians wanted to tackle these issues in the above, they should equally be outspoken against not only when a person just so happens to have a Muslim name who commits a crime, but every other person be they Christian, Jewish, Hindu or Buddhist?
Dear Christians, please don’t take this article the wrong way, that I somehow hate Christians. This is not the case: this article was mainly written in response to some right-wing bigoted ‘Christians’. I believe vast majority of Christians follow Christianity in their true nature, showing love and compassion, not dividing but building bridges.
The Mythical “Radicalised Muzlim”
5 FACTS – What we so far know of Omar Mateen:
(1) Omar, was born and raised in America.
(2) The shooter who committed the massacre was himself gay. He frequently visited the same club where he committed the massacre in, and those who recognised him from the club stated that he initiated dates on well-known, famous gay-dating app. The killer, also frequently drank alcohol in the same club for years and picked men up there (So much for “Radicalised Muslim”!).
(3) His family, friends and his Ex-wife have all confirmed he was not religious, he had no interest in religion:
“But relatives interviewed by US media said Mateen, who worked as a security officer and had a wife and young son, was not especially religious. They did, however, describe a man who had anti-gay views, mental health problems and was physically abusive to his ex-wife.”
(4) His family, friends and his Ex-wife have said that he had mental health issues:
Omar Mateen’s former wife says the man responsible for America’s deadliest ever mass shooting was physically abusive towards her, had mental health issues and was “obviously disturbed, deeply, and traumatised”. “A few months after we were married I saw his instability, I saw his bipolar, and he would get mad out of nowhere, and that’s when I started worrying about my safety.
Professor Lankan, also conceded that the mass killing in Orlando most probably occurred due to mental health, rather than religion.
(5) He was a loner, and abusive to his Ex-wife.
With all this we can surely say that religion had nothing to do with it, rather he was a mentally unstable, psychopathic killer, desperately fighting against his own homosexuality.
