The British Police have issued images of a Christian man in connection with a hate-crime on a Derbyshire train.
The British Transport Police have appealed from the public for information about the depicted man, after a Muslim woman in Hijab was assaulted on a train between Matlock and Derby.
The incident took place at around 4:50pm on Saturday, 4th July 2015.
PC Joseph Jenkins whose leading the case said: “A man onboard the service started shouting abuse at a young woman wearing Hijab.
“He grabbed the Hijab, attempting to pull it off, while continuing to shout abuse at the woman.”

Police investigating an attempt to pull off a train passenger’s hijab have issued CCTV images of a man they want to speak to.
Officers from British Transport Police said a man also shouted abuse at a woman travelling between Matlock and Derby.
The offender was ejected from the train at Ambergate station following the hate crime at about 4.50pm on Saturday July 4.
Investigating officer Pc Joseph Jenkins said: “The victim was extremely distressed by this shocking incident, as I’m sure was everyone else who witnessed it.
“Nobody should have to put up with such behaviour, and we are working extremely hard to find the person responsible. I am confident the man in the images we are issuing today can help with our enquiries.”
