Abu Lahab’s wife, Umm Jamil – Her name was Arwah bint Harb bin Umayyah, she attempted to murder the Prophet Muhammed (p) when a verse of the Quran was revealed about her:
“When Surat al-Masad (The Palm-Fibre) was revealed, the wife of Abu Lahab came looking out for the Prophet (pbuh) while she was carrying a stone. Thereby Abu Bar who was sitting beside him in the mosque said to the Prophet (pbuh): I wish if you get aside (or away) as she is coming to us, she may harm you. The Prophet (pbuh) said: There will be a screen set between me and her. So, Allah diverted her eyesight away from His Prophet (pbuh) and she did not see him. Then she said to Abu Bakr: Your companion is saying poetry against me? By Allah, had I seen him, I would have thrown that stone at him.” (Ash-Shifa – Healing Through Defining The Rights Of Prophet Muhammad by Al-Qadi Iyad al-Yahsubi, page 400)
Abu Lahab’s wife threatening to smash a stone on the Prophet. This is reported in Ibn Ishaq (704 – 768 AD):
“I was told that Umm Jamil, the bearer of the wood, when she heard what had come down about her and about her husband in the Quran, came to the apostle of God, when he was sitting in the mosque by the Ka’ba with Abu Bakr, with a stone pestle in her hand, and when she stood by the pair of them God made her unable to see the apostle so that she saw only Abu Bakr and asked him where his companion was, ‘for I have been told that he is satirizing me, and by God, if I had found him I would have smashed his mouth with this stone. By God, I am a poet.’ Then she said:
We reject the reprobate,
His words we repudiate,
His religion we loathe and hate.
Then she went off and Abu Bakr asked the apostle if he thought she had seen him. He replied that she had not because God had taken her sight away from him.” (Ibn Ishaq’s Sirat Rasul Allah – The Life of Muhammad Translated by A. Guillaume, [Oxford University Press – Seventeenth Impression 2004], page 161 – 162)

The Prophet (pbuh) simply described her evil character and she immediately wants to kill him. When Allah (swt) reveals that you will burn in hell with your exact punishment, you can bet that you will deserve it.
