The golden rule commanded by Prophet Muhammed (p) to his followers is that Muslims should always make things easy. And when one is angry, he should stay quiet.

Abu Abdullah Ahmad bin Muhammad Bin Hanbal Ash-Shaibani (780 – 855 CE):

“3448. It was narrated that Ibn Abbas said: The Messenger of Allah said: ‘Teach and make things easy, do not make things difficult. If you get angry then keep quiet; if you get angry then keep quiet; if you get angry then keep quiet.’ [Hasan with corroborating evidences] (English Translation Of Musnad Imam Ahmad Bin Hanbal, [Ahadeeth Edited, Researched And referenced by Darussalam: Translated by Nasiruddin Al-Khattab – Edited by Huda Al-Khattab, Maktaba Dar-us-Salam, 2012], volume 3, page page 226)

And:

“2556. It was narrated that Ibn Abbas said: The Messenger of Allah said: ‘Teach and make things easy, do not make things difficult. And if you get angry, keep quiet; if you get angry, keep quiet, if you get angry, keep quiet; if you get angry, keep quiet.’” This is Hasan because it is corroborated with other sources. (Musnad Ibn Hanbal, volume 2, page 509)
