DTT: Sadly racism and hate are alive and well in certain communities. A Sikh father-in-law stabbed the face of his daughter in law because he thought she was having an affair with a “Muslim man”.
How could a man do this to his own daughter in law? This is sickening. We hope and pray that the perpetrator gets the longest prison sentence possible so that he reforms himself. This kind of sick attack is not tolerated here.

I believe the ruling on apostasy is wrong, and that people should choose what they want to believe, as Allah states,
“There shall be no compulsion in [acceptance of] the religion. The right course has become clear from the wrong” [Quran 2:256]
“If it had been your Lord’s will, all of the people on Earth would have believed. Would you then compel the people so to have them believe?” [Quran 10:99]
